Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas took his second Formula One victory at the Austrian Grand Prix. The flying Finn held his nerve to hold off Sebastian Vettel in the dying moments of the race.
Bottas finished the race by just six-tenths of a second ahead of Ferrari driver Vettel. With the second place finish, Vettel has extended his lead in the driver's championship by 22 points over Lewis Hamilton.
Bottas made an incredible start to the race, but later it was investigated whether he made a jump start. But later it was revealed that he made a lightning start by reacting in just 0.2 seconds after the lights went off.
Red Bull Racing driver Daniel Ricciardo finished in the final podium position. A charging Lewis Hamilton managed to secure fourth place. Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen finished in fifth. Force India drivers Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon finished seventh and eighth respectively.
