Audi Q7 40 TFSI (Petrol) India Launch Date Revealed
Audi 40 TFSI to be launched in India on September 1, 2017.
Audi Q7 40 TFSI will be launched in India on September 1, 2017. With this, the German carmaker will add a petrol engine to the Q7 lineup in India.
As reported by Autocar, the Audi Q7will now be available in both petrol and diesel engine options in India. The Audi Q7 40 TFSI will be powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine which produces 250bhp and 370Nm of torque and comes paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox which sends power to all four-wheels.
Just like the diesel powered Audi Q7 45 TDI, the petrol unit can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. The Q7 40 TFSI is expected to feature Audi's 'Parking System Plus' with a 360-degree surround-view camera, LED headlamps that increase the intensity and throw of the beam when the vehicle speed exceeds 110kmph.

Also, the petrol Audi Q7 is expected to be equipped with electronically controlled air suspension with variable damping, Audi's virtual cockpit, a 12.3-inch touchscreen display and a panoramic sunroof.
Price for the Audi Q7 40 TFSI is expected to be in the range of Rs 75 lakh to Rs 80 lakh ex-showroom. The 7-seater SUV will rival the likes of the Jeep Grand Cherokee petrol, Mercedes-Benz GLS 400, BMW X5 35i and the Land Rover Discovery 3.0 L Petrol.
