Audi A5 launched in India. The new Audi A5 is priced at Rs 54.02 (Ex-showroom Delhi). The Audi India has also launched the A5 Cabriolet and the S5 Sportback versions under the A5 lineup.

Both the A5 sedan and the A5 Cabriolet look similar and feature a chiselled bonnet with the signature hexagonal grille at the front. Also, the Audi A5 and the A5 Cabriolet receive LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights (DRLs).

The Audi S5 Sportback is the sportier version of the A5, and its exterior design elements include a power dome hood and wave-design shoulder line to set it apart from its siblings.
The S5 Sportback sports a sculptural Platinum Grey single-frame grille with aluminium-optic double horizontal blades, satin finish wing mirrors, contoured full LED headlights, and the beautiful, "3D" LED tail lights with rear turn signals.

The interiors of the Audi A5 include a new sporty, three-spoke steering wheel, black wood-trim in the cabin (faux aluminium in the S5), MMI Touch infotainment system, and the Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster.
Additionally, there is Audi's smartphone integration suite with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected to a 755W Bang and Olufsen sound system. The Sportback version also gets a sunroof.
The Audi A5 Sportback as well as the Cabriolet are powered a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine producing 197bhp and 400Nm of torque. Both body styles come with the same 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox which sends power to the front wheels.
The Audi S5 Sportback is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine producing 349bhp and 500Nm. The motor is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox which sends power to all four wheels through Audi's Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system complete with a self-locking centre differential.
The Audi S5 Sportback can sprint to 100kph in a rapid 4.7 seconds, while the Audi A5 Cabriolet and Sedan do the same in 7.9 seconds.
The A5 Cabriolet will go against the Mercedes-Benz C 300 Cabriolet, while the A5 Sportback will compete with the BMW 3-series, Mercedes C-class, and Volvo S60.
The S5 Sportback will rival the Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG and the Volvo S60 Polestar in India.
