Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro Unveiled — Track Day Special Gets Turned Up To 11
The Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro has been revealed as an update package for the track-only supercar.
British supercar has revealed the Vulcan AMR Pro, an update package for its ballistic track-day special car from its new AMR high-performance brand.
The new Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro offers enhanced performance thanks to revised aerodynamics and a retuned gearbox and the upgrade package will be made available to all 24 current Vulcan owners.

While the 820bhp 7.0-litre naturally aspirated V12 remains unchanged, the 6-speed sequential gearbox now features shorter ratios to kick out "intensified acceleration".
The front end of the Vulcan features louvred panels above the front wheel arches that help reduce aerodynamic lift. Sets of two dive planes on either side of the nose help the front end stick even closer to the tarmac.

Other changes up front include turning vanes under the front splitter which help improve the steering response. The Vulcan has also gone on a diet thanks to a new engine cover that shaves weight by five kilogrammes.

At the rear end, the changes are more dramatic thanks to the new larger dual-paned wing that sports a 20mm Gurney flap. The rear wing endplates feature new slots with 15mm Gurney flaps of their own.

All the aero additions mean that the AMR Pro produces an extra 87 kilograms of downforce compared to the regular Vulcan. The added aero bits has also improved the aerodynamic balance of the Vulcan, shifting the centre of pressure forwards, bringing it closer to the middle of the car.
The first few of the 24 owners have already opted for the upgrade package and are expected to get their upgraded Vulcans in the autumn.
