Alva’s Motorig 4: Event Highlights In Pictures
Highlights from the fourth edition of the Alva's Motorig held at Alva's Institute of Engineering Technology in Moodbidri, Karnataka.
The fourth iteration of Alva's Motorig witnessed a fascinating display of automobiles. But the centre of attraction of Motorig 4 was the various stunts performed by the national riders and drivers.
The Motorig 4 is hosted by Alva's Institute of Engineering Technology in Moodbidri, Karnataka. The event was inaugurated by Kishore Alva, Executive Director, Adani UPCL. The Motorig 4 witnessed a participation of over 100 high-end cars and motorcycles including the vintage vehicles.
Various Superbikes were on display which included Yamaha Midnight Star, Suzuki Hayabusa, Harley Fatboy Terminator 2, Harley Fatboy Bobber, MV Augusta Brutale 800, Kawasaki ZX 10R, Kawasaki ZX 14R, Benelli Shotgun, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha R1. The Yezdi and Yamaha RD350 motorcycles were also showcased.
The auto ramp show included several exotic and vintage cars. BMW Z4, Audi R8, Mercedes GL 350, Mercedes GLS, BMW 5 Series and Audi A6 participated in the auto ramp show.
Among the vintage cars showcased at the Motorig 4, the 1991 Lincoln town car from Ford spread the vintage fragrance to the show.
Indian National Rally champions from Mangalore, Arjun Rao and Rahul Kanthraj performed rally sequences in their rally-prepped Mitsubishi Lancer Cedia's. The rally drivers displayed drifts and jumps.
National motocross champions Adnan and Sudeep Kotari displayed motocross stunts. Hot Pistons, a stunt group from Udupi attracted the crowd with their mind blowing freestyle stunts on the motorcycles.
National freestyle motorsport rider, Gaurav Khatri spell bounded the audience with his breathtaking freestyle stunts. He jumped a distance of 75 feet over five buses with the help of a ramp. After the conclusion of the event, Khatri advised the audience not to perform such stunts without adequate training, emphasising on safety.
Alva's Education Foundation Trustee Vivek Alva, Vishwas Bava Builders Proprietor Abul Puthige, Bedra Adventurous Club President Akshay Jain, and National Rally champion Ashwin Naik were present at the event.
Also, Mandovi Motors Managing Director Sanjay Rao, Entrepreneur Narayan PM, Chowtara Aramane Kuldeep Jain, Indian Institute of Science Scientist Harish Bhat, Alva's Motorig Coordinator Muddukrishna Shetty and AIET Principal Peter Fernandes were among others present at the event.
