Alpina Reveals BMW M3 & M4 Beating B3 S And B4 S — Better Than The Best?
Alpina's B3/ B4 S variants also produce 600Nm of torque and can reach 305km/ h.
The Alpina B3 S and B4 S Bi-Turbo versions have been launched with more potent 3.0-litre straight-six engines that generate 434bhp and 600Nm of torque.

The latest models of the Alpina B3 S and B4 S Bi-Turbo have been fitted with new turbochargers, retuned suspension, an enhanced cooling system, and remapped gearbox software. The result is a 7 percent increase in power and 10 percent rise in torque.

That gives the B3/ B4 S 9bhp and 50Nm more output than BMW's M3 and M4 models and enables the B4 S to accelerate from 0-100km/ h in 4.2sec, with the B3 S model takes a tenth longer. Top speed for both models is 305km/ h.

The 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline six is related to the one found in BMW's M3 and M4, but more potent.

The Alpina B3/ B4 S come in a rear or all-wheel (AWD) drive forms. While the B3 S is available in Touring and saloon guises, the B4 S comes in convertible or coupé body styles.

Alpina is yet to confirm pricing and on-sale dates, but both versions are anticipated to arrive around the middle of 2017.
