95 Percent People Will Not Own Cars In 15 Years
According to a prediction made by Tony Seba, 95 percent people will not own private cars by 2030. He says that the new technology will severely impact the automobile industry.
In the next 15 years, 95 percent of people will not own cars, this was predicted by an American entrepreneur, Tony Seba. He says that by 2030 95 percent of people will not own private cars.

Seba has also predicted that the electric vehicles will destroy the oil industry by 2030. As a predictor Seba has a reputation for his predictions come true. Previously he predicted the growth in solar power.

It may sound impossible, but if you observe the developments happening in the industry, there is all possibility that the prediction might become real.

The automobile industry is advancing from the electric vehicles to the self-driving cars. Seba states that the change can be sudden as the new technology can bring the change very quickly.

Seba said, "By 2030, you probably won't own a car, but you may get a free trip with your morning coffee. Transport-As-A-Service (TaaS) will use only electric vehicles and will upend two trillion dollar industries."

He added, "It's the death spiral for cars (and the oil industry). We are on the cusp of one of the fastest, deepest, most consequential disruptions of transportation in history. But there is nothing magical about it. This is driven by the economics."

Seba states that the cost of TaaS will depend on several factors such as energy, finance, the life of electric vehicles and utilisation rate. With the decrease in demand for the cars, the automobile industry and the oil industry will have a severe impact.
