2017 Los Angeles Auto Show: 2018 Nissan Kicks revealed.
Japanese carmaker Nissan has pulled the covers off its new subcompact SUV, the Kicks at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The new 2018 Nissan Kicks will replace the Juke in one of the fastest growing segments in the global market. The Kicks is the sixth product in the company's growing SUV lineup.

The overall design of the new Kicks is similar to the Rogue SUV. The front fascia of the SUV sports Nissan's signature V-Motion grille with a chrome dip that drops under the logo. Apart from that, the Kicks gets boomerang headlights and black lower-body cladding which gives it a rugged look.

The side profile of the 2018 Kicks features blacked-out pillars for a floating roof design. The base model gets 16-inch alloy wheels, whereas the top-spec trim is shod with 17-inch alloy wheels.

The rear of the new Kicks features LED tail lamp cluster, roof spoiler, plastic cladding and faux skid plate. The roof rails finished in silver renders a sporty look to the SUV. Apart from that the Kicks also features heated ORVMs with integrated turn indicators.

The interior of the Kicks is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Nissan also offers an optional Bose audio system The top-spec model also gets heated seats, leather-wrapped interior components and automatic climate control.

The 2018 Nissan Kicks draws power from a 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 123.2bhp and 156Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a Xtronic CVT transmission. The Kicks will be offered in a front-wheel-drive configuration.

The standard safety features on the Kicks will include automatic emergency braking system, forward collision warning and a reverse camera. The top-spec SR and SV trims will be equipped with rear cross-traffic alert and 360-degree camera.

The 2018 Nissan Kicks features a simple yet striking design similar to the Rogue SUV. The Kicks will replace the Juke in the global lineup and will hit the roads by June 2018.
