India-Bound 2017 Hyundai Verna Teased
The facelifted Verna has been teased with video revealing the new design philosophy of the sedan. Here is the teaser video of 2017 Hyundai Verna.
Hyundai has released a teaser video of the upcoming Hyundai Verna sedan. The next-generation Verna will debut at the 2017 Canadian International Auto Show on February 16, 2017.
Ahead of its unveil, the fifth-generation model has been teased in a new short video showing off bits of the new Verna's design. The new Verna cuts a sharper figure with trapezoidal head and taillights, and LED daytime running lights, along with Hyundai's new cascading grille design.
The 2018 Hyundai Verna should measure around 4,405 mm in length, 1,729 mm in width and 1,460 mm in height, and have a wheelbase of 2,600. Hyundai has not revealed the details of the all-new Verna's engine and gearbox specifications.
As for the interiors shown in the Russian spec-Solaris (Verna), the dashboard is similar to the latest Tucson SUV. The infotainment system is of 7-inch and capable of supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The current Hyundai Verna gets its power from a choice of either the 1.4-litre or the 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines.
The motors are available with a choice of either the 5-speed manual for the 1.4-litre engines, while the 1.6-litre comes with a choice of either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox.
