2017 Smart Fortwo Cabrio Brabus Edition #2 Revealed — Manic City Car Is As Smart As They Come
The Smart ForTwo Cabrio Brabus Edition #2 is one of the highly customizable tiny cars in the markets. The car will launch at the upcoming 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
The Smart Fortwo is a 2-seater hatchback city car which is manufactured and marketed by the Smart division of Daimler AG. The company will unveil yet another updated version of the ForTwo Cabrio Brabus Edition #2 at the upcoming 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

Originally, the limited-edition model featuring an extensive line of equipment and appointments, the Edition #2 is the most made-to-order ForTwo Cabrio till date. The car will not only have a unique colour scheme but, will be packed with a lot of standard features.

The first noticeable feature is the red over the silver exterior finish. The car's body gets a silver paint job and the red soft-top adds a contrasting touch to the city car. Other than the paint, the also gets 16-inch Brabus Brabus Monoblock VIII alloy wheels in matt Anthracite.

The Barbus also comes equipped with the LED & Sensor package as standard, which adds H4 halogen headlamps with welcome function. It also features integral LED fiber-optic DRLs, LED taillights, fog lamps with cornering light, and rain and light sensors.

Step inside the Brabus Edition #2 and you will be welcomed with red upholstery and many other standard features. Moreover, the dashboard, door center panels, and leather sports steering wheel are also finished in the same Ruby Red color.

It also comes with the Cool & Media package, which includes the Smart Media-System with a seven-inch display, an AUX/USB/SD, voice control, bluetooth interface with the hands-free system, audio streaming for music transfer, mirror link, navigation, and automatic climate control.

The two packages on offer are - Storage Space package, which includes - lockable glove compartment, storage net on the centre console in front passenger footwell, retaining strap for securing items on the front passenger seat.

The Comfort package features - height-adjustable driver's seat, height-adjustable steering column, backrest adjustment with a one-touch function for driver and front passenger, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, heated seats and a 35-litre fuel tank.

Mechanically, the car is powered by a 0.9-liter, turbocharged, three-cylinder engine. The engine is capable of producing around 88 bhp of power and 135 Nm of peak torque. The engine is coupled to a six-speed dual clutch gearbox. The car can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 10 seconds! Quite impressive.

The Brabus Edition #2 is expected to go on sale after the first quarter of 2017. Limited to only 100 units, the car carries a price tag of around $28,240 (INR 18,84,031). And no doubts, this is one of the highly customizable tiny cars in the markets. Stay tuned for more information.
