2017 Hyundai Grand i10 Facelift Launched In India; Priced At Rs 4.58 lakh
Hyundai India has silently launched the facelifted 2017 Grand i10 in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 4.58 lakh to Rs 6.40 lakh.
Hyundai India has launched the facelifted 2017 Grand i10 in the Indian market with minor cosmetic updates and a new diesel engine.

Hyundai has showcased the facelifted 2017 i0 at the Paris Motor Show in September last year and the updated hatchback gets stylish exterior design compared to the current model sold in India.

The front fascia of the 2017 Grand i10 features a hexagonal grille with honeycomb mesh, updated fog lamp enclosures and LED daytime running lights.

The side profile has also been upgraded with door garnish moulding, chrome-coated handles, rear glass wiper and roof spoiler with stop lamp. The car also gets redesigned alloy wheels. The front and rear bumper have been revamped to add to the sportiness of the hatchback.

The interior of the 2017 Grand i10 has been revamped and it features 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system which will be offered in mid and top end variants, updated digital MID and three-spoke multifunction steering wheel.

Other notable features of the new hatchback are, auto dimming rear view mirror, climate control, rear AC vents and electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs.

The updated Grand i10 will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine which produces 85bhp and a new 1.2-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine producing 75bhp which is said to be more fuel efficient.

The transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed automatic transmission. The automatic gearbox will be offered only in the petrol variant.

The 2017 Grand i10 is launched with a price tag of Rs 4.58 lakh to Rs 6.40 lakh. The base petrol variant is cheaper by Rs 30,000 and top end diesel variant gets a similar price hike. The Grand i10 will take on its segment rivals such as Maruti Suzuki Swift, Ford Figo, Tata Tiago, Nissan Micra and yet to be launched Honda Brio facelift.
