Formula One: Wehrlein Disappointed About Force India’s Decision
The Deputy team principal of Force India, Bob Fernley said that the German was not up to the expected pace this season.

says
that
Pascal
Wehrlein
has
a
great
future
in
Formula
1.
A

weeks
back,
the
team
signed
the
contract
with
Wehrlein's
teammate
Esteban
Ocon
for
next
year.
The German was disappointed about the decision made by Force India to opt Ocon rather than him for next year. He is currently racing for Manor F1 team and he also believes that he has been better this season than his French teammate.
He also said that he want to speak with Force India to find out the reasons about why he was not promoted from Manor. The Deputy team principal of Force India, Bob Fernley said that the German was not up to the expected pace this season.
Fernley also said that Pascal was extremely courteous and very gracious. "If you read the articles where he has talked about things, he is looking for guidance for himself rather than being critical of anything we have done," he said to Motorsport.com.
He added, "I think he's a talented driver and the fact that we have chosen one over the other is only our preference. It doesn't mean that Pascal doesn't have a tremendous future going forward."
