The Volvo V90 Cross Country Now Gets Polestar Upgrades
The Volvo V90 Cross Country now gets Polestar performance optimisation for the T6, D5, and D4 models.
Polestar is to Volvo as how AMG is to Mercedes-Benz and M is to BMW. Polestar is the Swedish carmaker's performance division, and the company has introduced performance optimisation for the V90 Cross Country.
As per the performance optimisation, the V90 Cross Country does not only get a boost in power, but also works on 5 key areas to make the car better to drive.
The Polestar optimisation works on the mid-range, since the car is driven at this range mostly. The gearbox receives new calibration, making shifts quicker to support the extra performance.
Niels Moller, the Chief Operating Officer of Volvo said, "To include the V90 Cross Country, a true adventure crossover, in our optimisation programme is a vital part of our operation to further expand on Volvo Cars' new SPA vehicle architecture."
The Polestar performance optimisation is available for the T6, D5, and D4 models of the Volvo V90 Cross Country. Also, Volvo is looking forward to introduce the Polestar brand in India in 2017.
