Volvo Auto is changing the direction of its future model for the global markets. The Swiss-based manufacturer has taken to social media to tease its future compact models. An all-new hatchback and a crossover model are expected to be introduced soon.
The compact series from Volvo will be based on their 40 series vehicles. Volvo V40 and XC40 model will receive new design and platforms. Both models will be based on an all-new Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform by Volvo.
Unfortunately, the duo will be making their global debut by late 2016 and will be introduced in several markets, not before 2017. The V40 and XC40 models will initially be launched in the American market. Volvo Auto will be bringing both models to India as well, where they plan on capturing the luxury market.
The Swiss-based automobile manufacturer is teasing their future compact models with the tagline 'Not Your Daddy's Volvo'. Another campaign organised goes by the 'Teasing the future of Volvo. Stay tuned for more updates and details on upcoming Volvo models.
