Volvo Brings The S90 To India Prior To Launch
Volvo has imported a single unit of the Volvo S90 to India for the homologation process. This might be an indication that the Swedish automaker is planning to launch the luxury sedan in India by late-2016.

Volvo first introduced the S90 at the 2016 Detroit Motor show and it will be Volvo's contender in the mid-size luxury sedan segment. It is built on the company's latest design language and shares various design cues with the XC90.
The front design of the Volvo S90 gets a long grille, which is surrounded by a pair of headlamps that feature Volvo's Thor hammer DRLs.
On the exterior are a long bonnet, sleek fog lamps, and a slim horizontal air-duct constituting the design elements of the S90.
In India, the S90 is likely to get Volvo's 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine, which can produce 222bhp at 4,250 rpm and a peak torque of 470nm at 1,750-2,500 rpm.
