Volvo Goes Lavish: S90 Excellence Concept With Lounge Console In Pics
Volvo has given an ultimate luxury treatment to the S90 Excellence with the Lounge Console, this was recently showcased at the Beijing Motor Show 2016.
Initially, Volvo had featured it in the XC90 impressing one and all with its luxury specs. Now they have created it same impression in the S90.
The Volvo S90 Excellence Lounge Console comes with a comfortable pair of armchairs, cooled cup holders, fridge, fold out tables, crystal glasses, and a touch screen.
Volvo then decided to do away with the co-driver seat and instead give a luxurious space for the rear passenger, this was then featured, in what Volvo calls it 'Lounge Console' which is feature rich, providing entertainment, workstation, and space for relaxing.
A touch screen can be positioned as per your requirement and with the foldable table which you can convert it into a business mode. If not, you can recline the seat and move the screen to relax to probably watch a movie or even listen to music with Bowers & Wilkins headsets.
Thomas Ingenlath, Volvo's Design VP, said, "We do things differently at Volvo Cars - we always have. Our distinctive approach to interior design aims to deliver a luxurious and calming experience. The art of Scandinavian Design is all about enhancing the life experience, and this is what Volvo Cars does best."
The Volvo S90 is powered by a 2-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, which develops 250bhp at 5500rpm and a max torque of 350NM at 4800rpm for the FWD (Front Wheel Drive) and 316bhp at 5700rpm and 400Nm at 5400rpm for the 4WD (Four Wheel Drive).
