Volvo, Ford, Rolls-Royce And Many More To Ditch Paris Motor Show
Auto Shows are a pricey affair for any manufacturer, they spend millions on their display stands which can drain any large budget. That's the reason not every manufacturer shows up at every auto shows.
That's why it will be no surprise if you miss major manufacturers such as, Volvo, Rolls-Royce, Ford and Aston Martin in the upcoming Paris Motor Show. Volkswagen and Lamborghini too will skip the French auto show. BMW will also miss the show in order to discuss strategies about electric cars.
Volvo has a genuine reason to miss the show, to market directly to customers. Direct approach in the sense, as Ford has planned to offer drives to French customers across the country. Whereas Rolls-Royce has its own ways of marketing its wealthiest customers.
Mitsubishi will be making it to Paris Motor Show and will offer virtual nighttime test drive of its vehicles. Although there is no surprise if Paris Motor Show attracts a good crowd. Some car makers skipped Detroit, some aimed at LA, Chicago, Frankfurt and others. Because everybody at an autoshow is not looking for a new car.
