VW India Has Launched Its Ameo Diesel & Here Is The Pricing
Volkswagen India has launched its Ameo compact sedan with a diesel engine. The diesel powered Ameo bears a starting price of Rs 6.27 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai). The Ameo diesel will be offered with optional DSG gearbox as well.
Here are the variants & pricing of the VW Ameo diesel:
- Volkswagen Ameo (diesel) TL with manual gearbox is priced at Rs. 6.26 lakh
- Volkswagen Ameo (diesel) CL with manual gearbox is priced at Rs. 7.27 lakh
- Volkswagen Ameo (diesel) CL with DSG gearbox is priced at Rs. 8.40 lakh
- Volkswagen Ameo (diesel) HL with manual gearbox is priced at Rs. 8.08 lakh
- Volkswagen Ameo (diesel) HL with DSG gearbox is priced at Rs. 9.21 lakh
All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom (Mumbai)
Under the hood of the VW Ameo will be a 1.5-litre TDI, four-cylinder diesel engine. This engine produces 108.62bhp, along with 250Nm of peak torque. Volkswagen India has mated this diesel engine to a 5-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG transmission option.
Standard equipment in the Volkswagen Ameo TDI is several segment first features. Dual airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), crumple zone, anti-perforation warranty, three-year paint warranty, and six-year anti-corrosion perforation warranty will be offered as standard.
