Toyota Fortuner Diesel Price List
The Fortuner is powered by two engines: a 2.7-litre petrol and a 2.8-litre diesel engine.
The 2.7-litre petrol engine produces 164bhp and 245Nm of torque while the 2.8-litre diesel engine produces 177bhp and 360Nm of torque.
Both engines are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The diesel powered Fortuner is also available with four-wheel-drive.
The new Fortuner is based on Toyota's modular Toyota New Generation Architecture (TNGA) platform. The platform ensures that the new Fortuner is lighter than the model it replaces.
The new Fortuner measures 4,795mm in length, 1,855mm in width and 1,835mm in height while the wheelbase is 2,750mm long.
The biggest change in the new Fortuner is in the design. The 2017 Toyota Fortuner features a more angular design which sets it apart from the rest of the SUVs currently in the market.
The angular front end features sharp and sleek projector headlamps with LED DRLs that flank a two-slat chrome grille. The front bumper has been redesigned as well and features chrome surrounds for the fog lamps.
The rear end off the Fortuner features sleek LED Tail lamps that flank a chrome strip. Also the tailgate is an automatic affair on the new Fortuner.
The all-new Fortuner will go up against Ford Endeavour, the Chevrolet Trailblazer and the Hyundai Santa Fe.
