Toyota Reveals Etios Platinum In Brazil; Is This The India Bound Model?
Toyota has been testing the facelifted version of the Etios in India and it is about time for its launch. The Japanese auto major has revealed the facelifted Etios in Brazil and named it as Etios Platinum.
The new Etios features a new front grille, revised front and rear bumper, new fog lamp housing, flat bottom steering wheel, digital instrument panel, and a new set of alloy wheels.

A mild and subtle changes on the exteriors like the aggressive front bumper with V-shaped grille with black inserts and chrome accents. On the side, we see side skirts and on the rear with spoiler, and chrome strip on the boot lid.
As for the interiors, the design remains the same except for some tweaks like the new digital instrument cluster and the flat bottom steering wheel. Also, we see new fabric for the seats and the upholstery.
Under the hood, the stamdard engine displacement is expected on the facelifted Toyota Etios seen on the old model. In Brazil, the Etios Platinum comes only with the 1.5-litre Dual VVT petrol engine which produces 106bhp and is mated to a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
The new Etios has been priced from R$ 65,990 (Rs. 13.53 lakhs). However, in India, there is no confirmation of the price and expect not much of a change in pricing. India could expect similar changes to the facelifted Etios to be launched soon.
