Design

Toyota has repackaged the Etios with the most changes visible at the front profile of the sedan. The front grille and the bumper are all new; however, the headlamps remain the same. The front bumper gets a blacked out finish which adds sportiness to the Etios. The V-shaped front grille with chrome outlining does look better than the old model.

Verdict

What the Etios twins lacked was the design and the overall look of the car, it was a hit among the fleet owners and cabbies. The reason for its success among the cab owners was because of its frugal and efficient engine.

Toyota has got the design language in the right direction, it has to focus on the overall package of the Etios. This will add some punch to the Etios sedan and the hatchback Liva's sales.
