Toyota Launches 2016 Corolla ESport Edition In Thailand
Toyota Motor has launched the 2016 iteration of the Corolla ESport Nurburgring edition in Thailand. The car comes with minor cosmetic changes to its design.
The 2016 Corolla ESport gets aggressive touches and a new 17-inch alloy rim design. Rest of the design elements are identical to its outgoing model.
The car features piano-black grille, rear spoiler, a faux diffuser for the rear bumper and the ‘Green Hell' stickers on the front wings.
Similar to its previous model, the 2016 Corolla ESport gets an all-black interior with red linings on the dashboard, door panels and floor carpet.
The instrument cluster of the new sedan has been updated. It gets a new display with larger multi-info display and new software for touchscreen infotainment system.
The Corolla ESport and the ESport Nurburgring are powered by 1.8-liter four-cylinder Dual-VVT-i engine which produces 140bhp and 177Nm of torque.
The engine is mated to a seven-speed CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission) gearbox which will be offered with paddle shifters on both the editions.
