Toyota Corolla Altis Facelift Launched In Malaysia – India Launch In 2017
Toyota has launched the Corolla Altis facelift in the Malaysian market. The India launch of this car is set to happen in first half of 2017.
Toyota has launched the Corolla Altis facelift in Malaysia. The new Corolla is available in three variants - 1.8E, 1.8G and 2.0V.
The Toyota Corolla Altis facelift sports facelifted front and rear section which shares design cues from Toyota's "Keen Look" and "Under Priority" design language.
The exterior of the car features LED headlamps, daytime running lights, newly designed upper front grille with chrome detailing, wide radiator grille and new LED clusters for the tail lamp.
The interior gets updated HVAC controls with new circular HVAC vents. The new Touch2 infotainment system with navigation is offered as an option.
The Corolla Altis facelift gets 4.2-inch MID display in the instrument cluster equipped with updated software.
The safety features of the new Corolla Altis includes seven airbags and vehicle stability control (VSC) which are standard across all the variants. In the current model, these features are only available with 2.0 V variant.
Although no changes have been made to the engine lineup available across all the variants. The G and E trim models are powered by 1.8-litre petrol engine which produces 137bhp and 173Nm of torque.
While the top of the line V trim model comes with a bigger 2-litre engine which churns out 143bhp and 187Nm of peak torque. Both the engine variants come with CVT gearbox. The Toyota Corolla Altis will be launched in India in the first half of 2017.
