Best 5 Pick-Up Trucks For Personal Use In India

By Dennis

A pickup truck is the best of both worlds if you own a small business but don't need a heavy transporter to lug around their goods thanks to the long flat-bed in the rear

Once you do get home, you can also use (in most cases) the same vehicle to ferry the family around on a holiday as well.

However, pickups are still somewhat of niche market in India and not many are on sale in the country. Still, let's take a look at five of the best pickup trucks currently available in India, that are the best of both your worlds.

Isuzu D-Max

Isuzu D-Max

The Isuzu D-Max is the more business oriented pick up in the list thanks to its single cab form which only allows space for the driver and passenger while the rest of the space is occupied by the loading bay.

The D-Max is powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine that produces 134hp and 320Nm of torque. Power and torue are sent to the front wheels through a 5-speed gearbox. The D-Max returns a mileage of 14.1km/l.

The D-Max can carry a total of 1,155 kilograms on its loading bay. The loading bay itself measures in at 2,440mm (length) X 1,725mm (width) X 510mm (height).

Please do note that not all variants of the D-Max come with air conditioning which could mean some rather sauna-esque drives.
