The Wait Is Finally Over; Toyota Announces The Launch Date For 2016 Etios
The Etios was one of the first cars to be built by Toyota for the emerging markets. Since its launch in 2010, despite the minor updates, the Etios never actually got a major revamp.
The arrival of the 2016 Toyota Etios has been rumoured for a while now. Now, the company has finally revealed the launch date for the new Etios as 13 September 2016.
The 2016 facelift is expected to feature a handful of changes to the exterior as well as the interior. The black and beige interior might be replaced with an all-black theme.
The dashboard layout is expected to remain the same, while the instrument cluster will now feature a fully-digital cluster instead of the analogue dials.

The petrol engine is capable of producing 88bhp, while the diesel can produce 67bhp. The car is currently sold in the market with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
To ensure the safety of its passenger's, the Etios will now feature dual airbags in the front and ABS will be offered as standard across all variants.
As of now, the Toyota Etios rules the segment since it does not have direct competition as of now. Currently, it's the low maintenance costs, reliability and cabin space along that makes the Etios a favourite.
Once launched next month, we expect the new Toyota Etios to be priced at an introductory price tag under Rs 7 lakh.
