Tata Nexon Spied Testing With Berry Red Body Colour
Tata Nexon has been spied again, but this time it appears to be a pre-production version with Berry Red paint scheme on the exterior.
Tata Nexon has been spied testing again, but this time it appears to be the pre-production model of the Nexon and the SUV's exterior is finished with Berry Red colour.
Tata's upcoming SUV was spotted testing in Pune. The Nexon will be launched in the Indian market after the introduction of Hexa and Kite5. So don't think of booking this SUV until mid-2017.
The Nexon which was spotted testing appears to be a top of the line variant The front end of the SUV features Tata signature grille.
The front fascia is also equipped with projector headlamps, ceramic side finisher, contrast roof, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights and LED daytime running lights.
The Nexon also gets fog lamps and gloss black finish for the wide grille. The design is based on the Tata's IMPACT design language which was developed by firms design chief, Pratap Bose.
The Tata Nexon is based on the Indica's X1 platform but with some heavy modifications. The upcoming SUV will be available in both petrol and diesel variant.
The diesel variant will feature 1.5-liter four-cylinder diesel engine which produces 108bhp and 260Nm of torque which will be coupled with six-speed manual or AMT transmission. The petrol version is expected to be powered by a turbocharged version of Tiago's 1.2-litre three-cylinder Revotron petrol engine.
Identical to the Hexa, top of the line Nexon SUV will feature ‘Super Drive Modes' selector. Tata has not yet revealed the expected launch date for this SUV, but it is believed that by mid 2017 the Nexon will go on sale in India.
