Bookings For Tata Hexa To Open In November; Launch & Delivery Pushed To 2017
Tata Motors planned on launching its all-new Hexa MPV in the Indian market during November 2016. Surprisingly, the Hexa launch has been delayed and pushed further back to January 2017. Bookings for all-new Tata Hexa will commence pan India from November onwards.
Media promotions for Tata Hexa will commence from October-end. This report has been confirmed by Mayank Pareek, Head of Tata Motors. No reason as to why Tata Hexa launch is pushed back has been provided so far.
Under the hood of Tata Hexa will be a 2.2-litre VARICOR 400 diesel engine. This engine will produce 153.87bhp, along with 400Nm of peak torque. Tata Motors is most likely to pair the engine with a 6-speed manual as well as an automatic transmission option.
Hexa MPV once launched in India will take on the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta and Mahindra's XUV5OO models. In terms of pricing, expect Tata Hexa to be priced strategically below the Innova Crysta. We expect prices for Hexa base model to be in the range of Rs. 13-14 lakh ex-showroom.
