Report: Fuel Efficiency Is The Major Concern For Indian Drivers!
Indians are more concerned about the mileage for their vehicles, reveals the latest survey by Ford. And saving money is the main reason for choosing fuel efficient vehicles.
According to an online survey conducted by GlobalWebIndex on behalf of Ford Motor Company, over 9,500 drivers, across 11 markets in the Asia Pacific region, including 1,023 Indian respondents, revealed that a majority of people prefer fuel efficient vehicle.
When it comes to buying a new vehicle, more than 67 percent of Indian customers said that, they prefer a fuel efficient car over a powerful one. That is just one conclusion of the survey conducted of more than 9,500 drivers across the Asia-Pacific region conducted on behalf of Ford Motor Company in June 2016.
This aspiration to reduce fuel consumption prolongs so far, that the Indian drivers are even willing to change their driving habits on the roads.
Since 2009, Ford's EcoBoost engines have been drenched with awards, in fact, the 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine was elected best in class at the 2016 International Engine of the Year Awards for the fifth year in a row.
EcoBoost technology can now be found under the hoods of more than 20 Ford vehicles around the world - from the Figo/Ka to the iconic Ford GT.
Fuel efficient cars are environmentally friendly, and save a lot money every year. The Indian automobile market is growing with fuel efficient vehicles. Most of the Indian drivers plan to buy hybrid or electric vehicles.
