Stephan Winklemann To Head Audi's Quattro Division
Outgoing Lamborghini CEO and President Stephan Winklemann will take over as the chief executive of Audi's Quattro division. He will replace Heinz Hollerweger, who is retiring after 40 years with Audi.
Speaking about the change of the guard at the top of Audi's performance divsion, Rupert Stadler, the Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi AG said "With his experience from more than eleven years in charge of Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann will be a key contributor to the further growth of quattro GmbH."
Speaking about the outgoing Heinz Hollerweger, Stefan Knirsch, a member of the Board of Management for Technical Development at Audi stated, "Heinz Hollerweger has been one of the catalysts for Audi's path into electric mobility. He also contributed decisively to the success and expansion of quattro GmbH."
Winklemann will take up his new post at Audi on March 15, 2016.
