Ford Reveals A Special Edition ‘Blacked Out’ Pickup

Pricing of the Ranger FX4 are as follows:

• Ranger FX4 2.2L 4x2 6 M/T - PhP 1,299,000 (approximately Rs 17,90,687)
• Ranger FX4 2.2L 4x2 6 A/T - PhP 1,359,000 (approximately Rs 18,73,398)



The special edition model gives the Ranger pickup a dark theme on its exterior and interior. Seen up front is a new front grille finished in black, with mesh inserts and the all black fog light bezels.



Another dominant design feature is the aggressive 18-inch alloy wheels finished in black, while the bed gets new sports bars, which are finished in black as well.



Inside, Ford says that the cabin also gets the same dark trim treatment. According to Ford, the black interior finish will deliver an upmarket level of refinement in the pickup range. Completing the interior touches are the FX4 logos embedded on the leather seats.



Powering the Ford Ranger FX4 is a 2.2-litre Duratorq turbo-diesel engine that makes 158bhp and 385 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic and the pickup is strictly a two-wheel drive variant.



The Ford Ranger FX4 pickup special edition is available in a choice of colours such as Aluminum Metallic, Cool White, Jet Black, and Meteor Gray.
