2016 Skoda Superb To Be Launched In India On 23 Feb

There are a lot of new launches lined up for this year and one of the important launches is the Skoda Superb. The Volkswagen owned carmaker has scheduled to launch the Superb luxury sedan in India on 23 Feb, 2016.

The new 2016 Skoda Superb is expected to have the same 1.8-litre 177bhp petrol engine and the 2.0-litre 141bhp diesel engine that power the current generation Skoda Octavia. Internationally however, the Superb is offered with a choice of four engine variants.

The overall design of the Skoda Superb is much angular compared to the previous gen model. It follows some design elements inspired by the Octavia as well. The 2016 Skoda Superb will feature redesigned headlights with DRLs and LED tail lamps.

In terms of creature comforts, the Skoda Superb will have a new infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, panoramic sunroof, a tablet holder in the rear, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, emergency braking assist, and attention assist.

When launched in India, the Skoda Superb is expected to be priced around Rs. 24 to 30 lakh in India.
