Skoda India Recalls The Octavia Over Faulty Child Locks

Skoda has issued a recall for 539 units of the Octavia sedan over a faulty manual child lock.
According Skoda India, a batch of Octavia's manufactured between November 2015 and April 2016 will be recalled to check and replace faulty manual child locks on the rear doors.
Skoda claims that issue with the faulty child locks can be rectified in just 12 minutes. If necessary, free replacements will be carried out within 45 minutes. All costs of service and replacement will be free of charge.
Skoda dealers across the country will inform the Octavia owners about this recall.
