Much Awaited Skoda Kodiaq Leaked Ahead Of Launch
The much-awaited SUV from Skoda, the Kodiaq has been leaked ahead of launch. The official reveal is hours away in Berlin, but some folks went ahead and leaked the images revealed in all its glory.
We already have seen the interiors of the Skoda Kodiaq, now the exterior has been leaked and by the looks of it, the design of the Kodiaq is closer to the concept VisionS showcased in Geneva a few months ago.
The Skoda Kodiaq is 4.7metres long and adopts a sharp design language depicting the signature Skoda brand of vehicles. The Kodiaq has a solid road presence with its sheer size.The Kodiaq SUV comes with the option of five or seven-seater configuration.
The new interior images have revealed the next-generation infotainment system and a wireless charging function.
As Skoda has built the Kodiaq from the MQB family of platforms, the SUV is expected to be powered by a four-cylinder petrol and diesel mills, both will come with turbochargers.
The Kodiaq powertrain will most probably come with the familiar diesel 2.0-litre TDI which is available in two states of tunes, a 148bhp, and an 188bhp. As for the petrol unit, it will be powered by a 1.4-litre TSI or a choice of the 2.0-litre TSI engine. Depending on the choice of the fuel, you will have the option of manual or an automatic gearbox.
Also, the Skoda Kodiaq will be offered as a front wheel drive or a choice of all-wheel drive. The Skoda Kodiaq is expected to belaunched in India in 2017 and in most likely will come with the state of tunes.
