SIAM Re-Elects Ashok Leyland’s Managing Director As President
The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), has re-elected Vinod K Dasari, the Managing Director of of Ashok Leyland as the President. This is the second consecutive year for the MD of Ashok Leyland as the President of SIAM.
Before his role as the President of SIAM, Vinod Dasari was serving as the Vice President. He was appointed as the President in 2015.
The role of SIAM's Vice President will be continued by Ravindra Pisharody, the Executive Director of Commercial Vehicles at Tata Motors.
The position of the Treasurer for SIAM will be taken care by Kenichi Ayukawa, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Maruti Suzuki India, who will retain his role.
The above mentioned roles was issued by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers in a statement.
