Rolls-Royce To Launch Its Luxurious Convertible On June 24
Rolls-Royce will be launching its latest luxury model the Dawn in the Indian market on June 24, 2016. The Dawn is a convertible model based on Rolls-Royce Wraith model. The British-based luxury car maker claims the Dawn to be the most silent convertible on Earth.
Powering the Rolls-Royce Dawn is a 6.6-litre, V12 petrol engine. The engine produces 562.20bhp, along with 780Nm of peak torque output. Power will be fed to rear wheels of the luxurious convertible through an 8-speed ZF transmission.
An all-new Satellite Aided Transmission system is offered in the Dawn. The system anticipates the road ahead via GPS and aid in gear changes for optimal performance and efficiency. iDrive system from BMW is used to control the 16-speaker entertainment system.
There is no direct competitor to Rolls-Royce Dawn in the Indian market. Once launched the luxurious convertible is expected to bear a price tag in excess of Rs. 6 crores. Rolls-Royce will also be offering its vast customization options with its Dawn.
