Renault Reduces The Price Of Its Lodgy By Almost Rs. One Lakh

Renault introduced the Lodgy to the Indian market a while ago. The MPV from the French-based manufacturer was aimed to take on the popular Toyota Innova. Unfortunately, the Lodgy has not been able to dent the image of the Japanese-based manufacturers MPV in India.

In an attempt to further boost sales of the Renault Lodgy in India, the MPV witnesses a hefty price cut. Recently, Renault India witnessed a swing in momentum as they managed to sell 730 units. The French-based manufacturer wants to continue this trend and has thus decided to lower pricing.

Under the hood of the Renault Lodgy is a single 1.5-litre diesel engine in two tune options. Customers can choose between 83.84bhp or 108.50bhp power options. The 83.84bhp engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the 108.50bhp option is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Here is the revised pricing of Renault Lodgy in the Indian market:

• Renault Lodgy 83.84bhp RxE variant costs Rs. 8.57 lakh (Price cut of Rs. 80,000)
• Renault Lodgy 83.84bhp RxL variant costs Rs. 9.44 lakh (Price cut of Rs. 55,000)
• Renault Lodgy 83.84bhp RxZ variant costs Rs. 10.99 lakh (Price cut of Rs. 34,000)
