Renault Launches Two Variants Of The Kwid In South Africa
Made in India Renault Kwid is now being exported to the African Market. The all-new Kwid in South Africa will be offered in two variants - Expression and Dynamique.
The made in India Renault Kwid has now been launched in the South African market. The Kwid is introduced as an entry-level offering by Renault in South Africa. At this point, the exported Renault Kwid will be offered only in two variants.
Here is the pricing of Renault Kwid in South Africa:
- Renault Kwid Expression is priced at 1.20 Rand or Rs. 5.89 lakh equivalent in India
- Renault Kwid Dynamique is priced at 1.30 Rand or Rs. 6.38 lakh equivalent in India
Powering the Renault Kwid will be a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder Smart Control Efficiency engine. This engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and will produce 67.05bhp, along with 91Nm of peak torque. Renault is offering a 5-year/1,50,000 kilometre mechanical warranty.
South African exported Renault Kwid will feature driver airbag as standard. Unfortunately, the hatchback misses out on ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). Renault is also equipping the Kwid with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre.
