Do You Own A Renault Kwid? Your Car Is Being Recalled For Voluntary Inspection -- More Details
Renault India has announced that it would be recalling its Kwid for a voluntary inspection. All variants of the Renault Kwid seem to have an issue with the fuel hose clip. This could cause an issue with fuel supply and could damage the fuel system.
Models in question are the ones made in India by Renault from the beginning to May 18, 2016. This means that only Renault Kwid with the 800cc, in-line three-cylinder, petrol engine is affected. Renault India is issuing this recall to maintain the quality of its products being offered.
Currently, Renault India is in the process of contacting Kwid customers. Renault technicians will carry out free inspections at the authorised service centre. In case any issue has been noticed with the fuel hose clip, Renault India will take care of it for Kwid customers.
This is a voluntary recall by Renault India with its Kwid compact hatchback model. Renault India values customer satisfaction and wants to ensure that this issue does not hassle any of its customers. It is unclear if models exported out of India also are affected by a similar issue.
