Renault Dealerships Accepting Bookings For Kwid 1.0-litre; Launch On August 22
Renault had showcased its 1.0-litre petrol engined Kwid at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. Now, bookings for Kwid with a bigger engine has commenced pan India. Dealerships are accepting Rs. 10,000 as a token amount for Renault's hatchback.
Kwid with the 1.0-litre petrol engine is confirmed to launch on August 22nd, 2016. Deliveries are expected to commence sometime during September. So far, official pricing has not been confirmed and we expect it to be extremely competitive.
The new 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine from Renault will be available in select trims. The engine is likely to produce 70bhp and will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Renault engineers will also be introducing its Easy-R AMT option at a later stage.
The all-new Renault Kwid with 1.0-litre engine could receive new paint schemes and colour options. Renault will also provide new alloy wheels to help differentiate between the models. Expect more creature comforts to be included within the cabin.
Once launched, the Renault Kwid with a new 1.0-litre engine will take on tougher competition. The new Kwid will go up against Alto K10, Celerio, Wagon R, Tiago, and Eon. Stay tuned for more updates at the time of launch.
