Facelifted Renault Duster Launched In India, Bookings Start March 3

Renault has launched the facelifted Duster SUV in India. Prices for the new Duster start at an introductary price of Rs. 8.46 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi). The facelifted Duster was unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo.

Price List

The base petrol variant of the Duster is available at Rs. 8.46 lakhs ex showroom (Delhi). The variant with the Easy R AMT gearbox is available at a price of Rs. 11.47 lakhs while the top end all-wheel-drive variant is priced at Rs. 13.57 lakh.

Engine & Gearbox Details

The new Duster is available with both diesel and petrol engines. The diesel engine is available in 2 different states of tune.

Renault Duster Diesel

Capacity - 1.5-litres
Power - 84bhp @ 3750rpm/ 109bhp @ 3900rpm
Torque - 200Nm @1900rpm/ 248Nm @2250rpm
Mileage (Km/l) - 20.64 / 19.1

Renault Duster Petrol

Capacity - 1.6-litres
Power - 103bhp @ 5850 rpm
Torque - 248Nm @ 2250 rpm
Mileage (Km/l) - 13.2

Both the petrol and diesel are available with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Easy-R AMT gearbox is currently only available with the Diesel engine.

Styling

The new Duster has undergone quite a few changes with the new headlights which feature a cluster design called the Hawkeye cluster.

The front bumper has been redesigned and features the new Firefly fog lamps. Also new are gunmetal grey alloy wheels and the new Cayenne Orange paintjob.

Also new are the LED tail lamps with some rather interesting graphics and the rear bumper has been modified as well.

Inside the biggest change is the redesigned centre console which features the infotainment system and the automatic A/C controls.
