Porsche Pinches Your Pocket Again With Platinum Edition Cayenne
Trust Porsche to make a 'special edition' version of one of their cars and charge you extra for it, while barely adding anything to the normal car.
Case in point, the latest Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition variants of the base diesel Cayenne and the Cayenne SE Hybrid.
On the outside, Porsche has added bi-Xenon headlamps, 20-inch wheels, wider wheel arches, gloss black trim parking sensors and cameras for the front and rear.
When you get inside the car you're greeted by the "Platinum Edition" door sills and can sit your behind on the eight-way adjustable power leather sport seats with Porsche crests stitched into the headrests. Also added on is Apple CarPlay.
Almost all of the extra stuff added on can usually be added through the Porsche configurator, the only new things are the "Platinum Edition" door sills which are made from stainless steel.
The new Platinum Edition 258bhp diesel Cayenne is priced at £55,134 (Rs. 53,74,080) while the 410bhp Hybrid SE Variant is Priced at £66,919 (Rs. 65,22,420)
