Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition Launched, Prices Start At Rs. 1.06 Crore
German carmaker Porsche has launched a special edition of its Cayenne SUV in India. The new special edition car is called the Cayenne Platinum Edition and it was unveiled in April.
Prices for the Cayenne Platinum Editon start at Rs. 1,06,68,000 ex-showroom (Maharashtra) for the petrol variant while the diesel variant is priced at Rs. 1,08,86,000 ex-showroom (Maharashtra). Deliveries for the new Cayenne variant will start in August.
While the petrol variant of the Cayenne Platinum edition pushes out 300hp, the diesel variant makes do with 245hp.
However, it is the cosmetic changes that really help the Platinum edition really stand out. Porsche has added dynamic bi-Xenon headlamps, 20-inch RS Spyder wheels along with wider wheel arches and stainless steel door sills with the words 'Platinum Edition' embossed on them.
The Platinum edition is available in a number of colours including non-metallic black or white, Jet Black Metallic, Rhodium Silver Metallic, Mahogany Metallic, Carrera White Metallic. A special exterior colour named Purpurite Metallic is also available as an option.
Inside, the new Cayenne packs a whole lot of kit including the latest generation Porsche infotainment system which is housed in a seven-inch touchscreen,and comes with navigation and Apple CarPlay. To ensure you hear all your tunes, a 14-speaker setup from Bose is available as well.
The seats are made from leather and all the headrests bear the Porsche crest as well Also present is a panoramic sunroof.
Speaking about the introduction of the latest Cayenne model variant, Pavan Shetty, Director, of Porsche India, said, "The Cayenne Platinum Edition is a thrilling four-door sports car with purposefully selected materials for an even greater sense of style. The comprehensive range of standard equipment and eye-catching details makes this premium model a truly attractive offering for our enthusiasts."
