Porsche India Reveals The 911 GT3 RS Supercar In Bengaluru
Porsche India has unveiled its all-new supercar for the Indian market. The 911 GT3 RS was showcased at the Porsche headquarters in Bengaluru.
This is the very first time that a Porsche flagship supercar will be officially offered to the Indian enthusiasts and car collectors.
Powering the 911 GT3 RS is a 4-litre, in-line six-cylinder engine that produces 493.50bhp, along with 480Nm of peak torque. The car is offered globally with a PDK transmission.
The car will also feature several aerodynamic upgrades which makes the car generate downforce similar to the GT3 race car.
The current generation GT3 RS has lapped the Nurburgring in a record-shattering seven minutes and twenty seconds. The car is capable of sprinting from 0-100 km/h in a matter of 3.3 seconds, while a 0-200 km/h run can be done in 10.9 seconds.
The GT3 RS is also equipped with a Track Precision app, which measures the lap time with the help of a GPS. The data can later be viewed on the smartphone, so that the drivers can access the vehicle speed, lateral acceleration, acceleration and deceleration of driving direction.
