Nissan India To Add More Convenience To Its Terrano Compact SUV Soon
Nissan India will be introducing an AMT(Automated Manual Transmission) option in their Terrano compact SUV. This new variant will be introduced in the Indian market sometime during mid-October. It is being launched in time to take advantage of the festive season across India.
Currently, Nissan offers the Sunny and Micra with automatic transmission as an option. The Terrano compact SUV has missed out on this convenience feature. Nissan India has commenced teasing Terrano AMT via its social media accounts.
Renault Duster has been launched with an AMT option a while ago. Terrano will get the same AMT option as Renault and Nissan share the compact SUV platform. The AMT option will be paired with a 1.5-litre diesel engine, that produces 109bhp and 248Nm of peak torque output.
Once launched the Nissan Terrano AMT will be priced approximately at Rs. 12.50 lakh ex-showroom. Expect a couple of variant options on offer by Nissan in their Terrano AMT. Stay tuned for more updates as Nissan India confirms time and date of launch for Terrano AMT option.
