Nissan Rogue Goes To A Galaxy Far Far Away In Crazy Star Wars Ad
Nissan latest ad for the Rogue SUV will transport you to a Galaxy Far Far Away.
Nissan's latest ad for the Rogue SUV sees it in the midst of heated battle scene from the upcoming Star Wars film which is called Star Wars: Rogue One.
Nissan is one of five brands who have joined hands with Lucasfilm to promote the first-ever standalone Star Wars story and the carmaker has unveiled a special edition of the Rogue SUV as part of the promotion campaign.
The special edition car which is called the Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition will make its official debut at the 2016 LA Auto Show.
All owners of the limited edition SUV will receive a numbered, limited-edition, full-sized-replica Death Trooper helmet with each purchase of the limited edition crossover.
The ad which goes by the name Battle Tested, sees the SUV at a fictional Nissan facility as it begins a holographic test session.
However instead of normal real world scenarios, this simulation sends the Rogue in the middle of a Star Wars battle between rebels and the forces of the empire with blaster bolts flying everywhere.
'Battle Tested' will hit TV screens in the US as the 30-second video seen below.
American film goers will be able to see a 60 second version at the theaters.
Star Wars: Rogue One will hit theaters on December 16.
