Nissan Kicks Is The Official Car For 2016 Rio Olympics
The opening ceremony at the Rio 2016 Olympics has kick-started the games in which countries world over competes for glory.
Nissan is the official car sponsor for the games which will cater to the teams and athletes at the 2016 Olympics. Nissan's crossover vehicle, the Kicks is the official car for the games.
Apart from the Kicks, Nissan is offering the LEAF, the all-electric hatchback, March, Versa, Sentra, Altima, and Frontier. The vehicle will help shuttle teams and athletes, as well as VIPs to and from their hotels and competition sites.
The Nissan Kicks could make its way to the Indian shores soon and it is a crossover vehicle. India has been witnessing a crossover from every manufacturer and Nissan has all reasons for it to launch the Kicks in India.
Talking about the Nissan Kicks, the crossover is powered by 1.6-litre, four-cylinder, flex-fuel engine. The flex-fuel is a technology where the engine will run on a blend of petrol and 20 - 25 percent ethanol. Expecting Nissan to offer the Kicks in 5-speed manual or in the CVT gearbox.
The engine will be built in Brazil and the first batch is manufactured in Mexico. Nissan has developed the Kicks based on the V-platform which is seen on the Micra and Sunny.
