Nissan GT-R Spotted Outside Indian Dealership, Launch Date Not Far Away
Nissan plans on launching its all-new GT-R supercar in India, sometime during November 2016. This report is now confirmed as models have started reaching dealerships prior to official launch. Here are a few images of the GT-R clicked before it could reach an Indian dealership.
Booking procedure has commenced pan India, a while ago. Nissan dealerships are accepting a token amount of Rs. 25 lakh to book the all-new GT-R in India. Expect the supercar from Nissan to be priced in excess of Rs. 1.50 crore ex-showroom.
Powering the Nissan GT-R will be a 3.8-litre, V6 twin-turbocharged petrol engine. This engine will produce 568bhp, along with 637Nm of peak torque output. Nissan engineers have paired the engine to a 6-speed dual clutch transmission, which spreads the power between all four wheels.
Previously, Nissan India took the opportunity and showcased the GT-R at 2016 Auto Expo. An all-new GT-R was later revealed by Nissan at the 2016 New York Motor Show. The completely revamped Nissan GT-R will be brought to Indian shores as their latest flagship offering.
