Next Generation Fiat Punto Will Launch In Brazil First
According to the Brazilian reports, the next generation Fiat Punto will launch in Brazil during August 2017.
The new hatchback, codenamed Fiat X6H , will ditch the 'Punto' name. The upcoming car will be the successor to both the Palio and the Punto. The X6H is also rumored to get a 4-wheel drive replacing the Fiat Idea Adventure from the line-up.

The all-new Punto will be based on a Fiat 326 platform which is used for the Palio and Uno, and will measure under 4 meters long, and come with a new 1.3-litre, as well as the 1.6-litre and 1.8-litre EtorQ engines. The car will be offered with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Spy shots reveal a much more premium interior than the model currently sold, while the exterior will feature a unique styling, unlike anything we've seen from Fiat lately.

In June, Sergio Marchionne, CEO of FCA, had announced the cease of Punto's production . It's still not clear if the next-gen Punto will be launched in India along wih the global markets.
