Volkswagen Now Offering Four New Colours And More With The New Beetle
The Volkswagen Beetle is a very well known vehicle globally. The car has evolved a lot over the years and to keep the momentum going, Volkswagen has introduced four new colour options and other interesting bits.
To start off, the four new colours are Sandstorm Yellow, Silk Blue Metallic, Habanero Orange, and Dark Bronze Metallic. With the introduction of the new colours, the Beetle is now available in 13 colours to chose from. Also, the company has added a new touchscreen interface and an easier understanding of variant options.
The Beetle comes with two doors, in either a hatchback or convertible form. The 1.8T Coupe is is offered in variants such as Wolfsburg Edition, S, SE, and SEL, while the R-Line Coupe is offered in SE and SEL trims, and the convertible is offered in S, SE, and SEL variants, along with the special-edition Dune coupe and Denim convertible.
Speaking about the engine, the 1.8T version of the car comes with a 1.8-litre, turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 170bhp and 250Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The second engine is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 210bhp and 280Nm of torque. This engine comes with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The Beetle is offered with a choice of either a 17 or a 19-inch wheels depending on the trim, rear view camera, ambient lighting, 6.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, navigation, sunroof, blind spot warning, keyless ignition, automatic headlights, leather upholstery, and more.
