Toyota Starts Accepting Registrations For The New Fortuner Online — Here’s More Details
Toyota has started accepting registration for the new fortuner by allowing customers to enter details such as name, contact information, and preferred dealership.
After facing a lot of trouble with the recently lifted diesel ban in Delhi and other cities, Toyota is joining the competition with the all-new version of its Fortuner.
The new Fortuner has already been spotted at a few dealerships and the carmaker is calling for registrations from prospective buyers through the company's website.
The next generation Fortuner will be launched in India on November 7, 2016, and the Japanese carmaker has a 'register' option on its website, where one can provide details such as name, contact information, and preferred dealership.
The new Fortuner was spotted at an Ahmedabad outlet finished in a glossy black shade, sleek headlamps with LED DRLs, and chrome touches around the fog lamps and front grille.
With the new fog lamp housing, the front profile of the SUV looks more aggressive. The side profile of the vehicle has also undergone major changes compared to the previous edition.
The engines could be the same ones that power the newly launched Toyota Innova Crysta, a 2.4-litre unit and a bigger 2.8-litre one. Speaking of the petrol engine, the new Fortuner is likely to get the 2.7-litre Dual VVT-i motor under its hood.
In terms of the gearbox, the new Fortuner could have an option of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The competition the Fortuner would face will be the newly launched Ford Endeavour, that has received very good response.
